RESTAURANT OF THE DAY

The Cactus Café
Located right by the pistes at the Chaudanne, this is the ideal midway stopover on your marathon ski day since it is almost exactly in the middle of the Three Valleys. With superb views and a fabulous sun terrace, the Cactus Café serves a range of delicious and inexpensive meals: from soups and salads, to pizza and baked potatoes. A perfect tonic to top up your energy levels. The popular plat du jour changes daily, culminating on Fridays with their famous Belgium extavaganza: Mussels, Chips, and half a Stella. What better way to finish off the week’s skiing. The Cactus Café also serves the only CAFFREYS in town.

VIEW OF THE DAY

The top of the Cime de Caron. At a height of 3,200 m, if the altitude doesn’t take your breath away, then the sheer sublimity of the mountain scape surrounding you will. On a clear day this magnificent and dramatic alpine architecture defies description so we can only urge you to go and see it for yourself.
