Ski Area

Méribel is located in the heart of the Three Valleys, the largest ski area in the world. You can either buy a Méribel ski pass and ski solely in the Méribel area, or choose a Three Valleys ski pass that gives you access to all 5 resorts within the region: Méribel, Courchevel, Les Ménuires, Val Thorens, La Tania.

Both the Méribel and Three Valleys ski areas are open from 06/12/03 until 25/04/04.

Ski Passes

Ski Passes can be bought at La Chaudanne in Méribel, underneath the Tougnète chairlift and at Mottaret, next to the Tourist Office. Free passes for those younger than 5 and older than 75. Discounted ski passes are available in early and end season (for more details, contact the tourist office)

Experienced skiers: for anyone with more than a fortnight's experience, we recommend the full 3 Valleys pass.

Your Three Valleys pass (min 6 days) also entitles you to ski one day in each of the following Olympic areas: L'Espace Killy, L'Espace La Plagne/Peisey/Vallandry/Les Arcs, Pralognan La Vanoise & Saisies.

Basic Skieurs débutants: the Meribel Valley pass still offers a huge variety of skiing. It is possible to extend your pass to cover the 3 Vallées area for 19€ per day.

Absolute beginner: The Méribel-Alpina pass is a good option for beginners.
