Golf A beautiful course set near the forest requiring
a good techniqe. Obviously the terrain is hilly.
And also... Horse riding, quad-biking, archery, mountain
biking, miniture golf and the skate park set on the Chaudanne.
Passionate about the mountains Méribel has 20
clearly marked and well-kept paths that will guide you around all
the major sites of interest in the resort. Don't forget to visit
the Tueda Nature Reserve that stretches from Tueda Lake to the Gebroulaz
glacier. You can use the ski-lifts to access the alpine walks. For
the more adventurous, there is mountaineering which can be practised
in the company of guides.
Vanoise National Park Located between la Tarentaise
and la Maurienne and spreading across an impressive 12,500 km2,
the Vanoise National Park is the largest nature reserve in Europe.
The flora is varied and the fauna rich. There you will find mountain
goats, chamois and marmots. The park has a number of refuges, enabling
hikers to trek for several days.
